1909 Clark County was created from a portion of Lincoln County, Nevada.

​

1909 By 1909, a church had been built in Mesquite and also served as a schoolhouse.

​

1910 A new large wooden frame schoolhouse was constructed in Mesquite.

​

1911 Mesquite high school students attended high school in Bunkerville, five miles away.
